Integrated CourseYear 1-2

A course to learn designing together with pattern making and sewing and to acquire the comprehensive knowledge and skills from basic to advanced, required of a fashion professional.

This integrated course accomplishes the highest grades from various fields in such the high level of programs and job placement outcomes which rises above the common herd. Students engage in a three year program full filled from basic up to advanced and further creation that enriches overall abilities.

Year 1

Stylisme (Fashion Design) 1

■ Introductory to basic drawing
■ Ladies figurine (research of human body, coloring expressions)
■ Fashion illustrations
■ Concepts of trend
■ Color expressions: Introductory to designing prints
■ Concepts of items and design development (blouse, shirt, one-piece, skirt, trousers, casual jacket)
■ Draping exercise (modeling) / fabric exercise
■ Producing My Vision Book

Modélisme (Pattern & Apparel Manufacture) 1

■ Introductory to spatial modeling: principles of modeling and construction exercise
Understanding relation between forms and pattern figures
■ Skirt exercise: patterning form and silhouette in 3D and 2D
Thinking of fabric movements & falling, recognizing from 3D modeling to 2D theoretical concepts, and understanding its meaning and process
■ Bodies exercise: patterning form and silhouette in 3D and 2D
Subsistent of dart and its handling, silhouette patterns
■ Producing skirt plus blouse products

Year 2

Stylisme (Fashion Design) 2

■ Image creation
■ Modeling and fabric
■ Visual presentation
■ Concepts of items and design development (tailored jacket, coat, cut and sewn)
■ Accessory designing
■ My-feeling (expressing with own world-views)

Modélisme (Pattern & Apparel Manufacture) 2

■ Practical training of modeling: principles of polyhedral modeling and construction exercise Understanding balance and construction of polyhedral modeling
■ Jacket exercise: patterning form and silhouette in 3D and 2D, modifying techniques

An introductory course for beginners to learn the basics before proceeding to the Department of Technology in Fashion
