Study Abroad Courses
Certified University Graduation by the French Government's Official （NIVEAUⅡ）

Students aspire for great success in creative professions of designers and patterners in the world. This course is to learn at ESMOD JAPON during the years 1 and 2, and study abroad to ESMOD Paris for the year 3.

The study abroad course has been provided since the first year of ESMOD JAPON. The students who studied this course and graduated from ESMOD Paris are totally over 300, and many of them are successfully working in the fashion industry all over the world including Maisons in Paris. This course enables students to learn foundation knowledge of fashion and French to study abroad at the same time. Students are divided into their major courses at Paris campus.

Year 1

Stylisme (Fashion Design) 1

■ Introductory to basic drawing
■ Ladies figurine (research of human body, coloring expressions)

■ Color expressions: designing original prints
■ Concepts of items and design development (blouse, shirt, one-piece, skirt, trousers, blouson)

Modélisme (Pattern Making & Apparel Manufacture) 1

■ Introductory to spatial modeling: principles of modeling and construction exercise Understanding relation between forms and pattern figures
■ Skirt exercise: patterning form and silhouette in 3D and 2D Thinking of fabric movements & falling, recognizing from 3D modeling to 2D theoretical concepts, and understanding its meaning and process
■ Producing skirt, blouse products

Year 2

Modélisme (Pattern & Apparel Manufacture) 2

■ Practical training of modeling: principles of polyhedral modeling and construction exercise
Understanding balance and construction of polyhedral modeling
■ Jacket exercise: patterning form and silhouette in 3D and 2D, modifying techniques

ESMOD Paris campus

Year 3

Students will learn French at Paris campus from April to July. And they starts new school year at ESMOD Paris in September. Applying what one has learned in ESMOD JAPON、improve your creativity in the each course. The course targeted at students to be brought up as a professional by the experience of co-project with european companies, exhibition, Student Fashion Show, etc.

Department of International Creative Fashion[English]

A course to acquire comprehensive knowledge and skills in foundation to advanced levels that are required for a professional in fashion throughout studying design and pattern (apparel manufacture)

This course accomplishes the highest grades from various fields in such a high level of programs and job placement outcomes which rises above the common herd. Students study during three years from basic to advance to discover and improve their abilities.
