PEOPLE – ESMOD people

ESMOD Paris 2016 Graduates FLORENT B.(25 years old)

How did you work after graduation?
I have been working as a project manager’s assistant at Disneyland Paris since May 2016. The contract will end at the end of August and will be taking a Luxury Management and Marketing degree course at the EM Lyon Business School * in September. * Commercial Gransecore (Higher Education Professional Organization)
What did you learn in the Bachelor Program?
The ISEM * courses I attended took advantage of my undergraduate degree program knowledge, especially in the textile courses. Furthermore, in the EM Lyon Business School’s School Curriculum, the design thinking courses studied in detail at CNAM are the main theme. * Business school owned by ESMOD
What was the most interesting thing in the CNAM curriculum?
The Cholet seminars were very interesting and not only on-the-job education, but also possible company visits, which was a valuable experience. * Cholet “Choré” is a town located in the Baie de la Loire region in France. During the nineteenth century, the textile industry and spinning industry of Cholet were greatly developed. The undergraduate degree program will hold a seminar on production management in the fashion industry for a week at Cholet. We will discuss production efficiency, resource planning (finance, human resources), supply chain management and more.
If you recommend this program to students and fashion professionals, what is the reason?
At CNAM, I was able to study subjects that I could not study very much at other fashion schools, so my interest was broadened.

ESMOD Paris 1995 Graduates / CNAM 2016 Graduates DUNNI B. (42 years old)

How did you work after graduation?
Now I am taking MBA from CNAM and ESMOD.
Did your knowledge help you in your current career?
Through innovation, it became possible to grasp the needs of consumers. As I studied new knowledge, I wanted to know more about companies, so I aimed to get an MBA.
What was the most interesting thing in the CNAM curriculum?
I really liked the innovation class! As I learned, I generally found that the concepts of “creativity” and “innovation” would be confused.
What did you learn in the Bachelor Program?
Originally, it was a technical major such as making a collection (designer / patterner). Bachelor also helped me learn about business, innovation, and marketing, such as marketing and collections.
If you recommend this program to students and fashion professionals, what is the reason?
I think it would be nice to attend an innovation course so that you can better understand consumer expectations. Having a dream is, of course, good thing, but I think it would be better to combine those dreams with things that are actually useful to create innovative products.

ESMOD Paris Graduation in 2016 SUMNIVA B. (26 years old)

How did you work after graduation?
I work as a product manager in Muglay. I am in charge of the collection of ladies’ including leather, embroidery and jersey.
Did your knowledge help you in your current career?
Before Batchelor, I had a year of experience in the fashion industry, specializing in international commerce, but it was a bit more difficult to find a job. Since taking Bachelor’s, I have acquired deep knowledge and as a result I received a job offer.
What did you learn in the Bachelor Program?
With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the world of fashion and luxury, I have been able to obtain a diploma that is recognized abroad.
What was the most interesting thing in the CNAM curriculum?
Besides knowledge acquired, there were many encounters with experts and friends and it was very good to be inspired.
